We begin the armed intervention to all warfare with GUNDAM

So after after the travesty of Gundam Seed Destiny, can anything rescue the franchise? Mabye Seiji Mizushima (Full Metal Alchemist) can..
Some more information has been trickling out about the latest (11th) Gundam series as it gets closer to its 6th of October airdate. As far as episode count goes it’s likely to be 50 episodes split between two seasons in the same manner as Code Geass. Some new trailers and TV spots have popped up in recent days:
- 30 second TV spot (subbed)
- Full trailer
- Voice actors
Set in 2307AD (no funny calendars this time), the plot revolves around the not-for-profit (!!) organisation “Celestial Being” that intends to use four mobile suits to eliminate all war and conflict. Not as crazy as it may sound, their mobile suits apparently have the ability to take out entire armies.
Of course, such powerful technology should only be entrusted to mentally stable, rational individuals. And who better than traumatised 16 year olds? Our main character, Setsuna F. Seiei, had a pretty bad childhood spent in a warzone. Obviously the prime candidate to pilot the heavily armed Gundam Exia.
