Browser Watch 2008 - June Roundup

Posted by: admin In: General

Big things are happening in the browser world these days. We haven’t seen this much action in browser development since the Netscape 4 / IE4 browser wars of the dot.com bubble, and back then it was only two browsers! Today, we have (arguably) no less than 4 major browsers, each with increasingly good […]

Gurren Lagann Cafe

Posted by: admin In: programming

Over in Akihabara, you’ll find one of many interesting events promoting the upcoming Gurren Lagann movie. There’s plenty to hype about since it’s one of the most awesome anime shows to come out of Japan in a long while. From August 22 thru November 15, the Cure Maid Cafe will be running a special Gurren […]

Nerima Daikon Brothers - Official US Trailer

Posted by: admin In: Trailers

Released in the USA by ADV films, Nerima Daikon Brothers is a rarity amongst anime titles. When you’ve watched enough anime, there are certain things you come to expect. Good background music, a bit of fanservice, and a plot that is just a bit further out than anything you might find in its […]

In the world of World Destruction, talking animals seem to rule the world, while humans, called “otherkin” are treated like second class citizens. A “catboy” (named Kirie) just trying to […]

Are Foreigners a Burden or a Resource?

Posted by: admin In: anime

Anthony Crooks of Sendai said in The Daily Yomiuri, “Foreign presence in Japanese society, outwardly promoted by the government as being a resource, seems to be haunted still by the “burdensome and troublesome” tag, no matter how these people choose to live their lives. The popularity of such beliefs continues to make foreigners’ existences here […]
